1,345 more days. February 27, 2021 – November 3, 2024 of more rhetoric and propaganda since my last political post Moving On.

As of today, the world has had 3,428 consecutive days (June 16, 2015 – November 3, 2024) of non-stop Donald J. Trump. Over 9 years of 24/7 constant coverage of this man and his “concepts of a plan” for the United States of America. The propaganda machine flooding our daily lives has been in motion for way too long. In my opinion, it fills minds with misinformation and false narratives. This rhetoric brews hate and sows deep division across the United States of America and the world.

The years since 2016 Americans have had constant bombardment. The bombardment of information filled with whims and personal interest. There are double standards, sowing division and doubt. There is lack of accountability and constant retaliation efforts. Most of this comes from the focus on an egomaniac being pushed through the media infecting our daily lives. Weird. Exhausting. The results conjuring uncertainty, fear, and panic about unrealistic and realistic threats to American way of life. Women’s Rights, Gun Rights, Gay Rights, Immigrants Rights, Seniors Rights…

On top of this, navigating a deadly, global pandemic which killed millions across the world. Almost half a million Americans died from COVID-19 under Donald Trump’s time in office, not to mention the continued aftermath. The pandemic had playbooks and controls built from science and experience put aside. We had an institutional memory from the Spanish Flu pandemic from the post-World War I era. We learn, remember and question only what we want to question. This is what makes us independent, autonomous beings with our own minds. Our own facts. Our own inherent ability to make decisions and/or take a stance on a position for ourselves. It blows my mind to think people still think Donald J. Trump should still hold office.

Again, I do believe there is good in humanity. We are capable of letting love conquer all and being more socially-minded drive the future. I believe human nature just wants to feel safe, love who we want to love, care for those we love, and live the time we have on this Earth to the best of our abilities. I believe this will only work if we communicate, collaborate, and agree to bridge the gap and participate in Deliberative Democracy or Deliberative Polling . (.pdf)

Human rights and freedoms are at an unprecedented risk in this election. The Constitution of the United States is at risk.

We must do better by coming together. We need to communicate and collaborate. This will help us forge a path forward to honor our Democracy. We must also protect The Constitution of the United States.

I personally needed to put this 2024 view of the world created around Donald J. Trump, if for nothing else, to help me remember this moment in history.
