The funeral for Ann Godke is today. She passed away last Thursday in her home. I felt I needed to post a picture of us on the web so I can look at them anytime I am missing her. Ann was my friend, my mentor, my travel buddy, my fellow foodie and in some instances my mother. Here we are doing our favorite thing. Eating.
I will never forget the impact Ann has had on my life. I am fortunate to have a lot of good times and memories of her, which I will cherish forever. No words can describe how much I will miss her but it is missing her that will keep her always in my heart.
Rest in Peace My Friend.

I love this picture, and your blog, if only those in heaven could post comments. I know that somewhere up above my mom is reading every blog, and drooling over every picture! If only she could still be here with us today to share in some of these amazing adventures. We sure had some crazy adventures together, and I’m sure there are many more to come, some day in some place. I love you Brian!
