This line was from a recent episode of Mad Men in which I found it hilarious. Don’s elderly male neighbor was waiting for his wife to return from shopping. As she was coming down the hall all he had to say was “Did you get pears?” I found it hilarious. Now we cannot stop saying it. As it turns out, pears were in season so be bought a bunch of them. What to do… what to do with all of those pears. They were delicious on their own but they can turn overnight. So Almond Pear Tart was born.
