24 hour burritos, baby! It would have come in handy 10 years ago. Not so much now, but I like having the option.

There is a new burrito place in town, Abelardo’s. It is open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. It also has a drive thru. Woo Hoo! We stopped here for lunch one day.

We went inside to check the place out. We selected a Carne Asada burrito, chicken nachos, and horchata. The service was quick. While you wait you can help yourself to the free condiment bar, which included several different salsas.

A huge burrito for under $4 bucks. Everything was hot, fresh, and had great flavor.

The chicken nachos we ordered seemed like it had a half of a chicken on it. There was almost more chicken than chips. The chicken was moist and seasoned well. The guacamole was cool and tangy. Oh… and there was so much cheese that I think it qualified as “one nacho.”

Overall the food was really good, the hours couldn’t be more convenient, and you can’t beat the price.
